Tradestar provides tools for automated trade execution. By using the automation features, you acknowledge and accept the following risks:

• Signal delivery failures: Signals may be delayed, lost, or fail to deliver due to network issues, server downtime, or third-party service outages (TradingView, cTrader, internet connectivity)
• Execution failures: The Tradestar Bridge may fail to execute trades due to insufficient margin, broker rejections, invalid symbols, market closures, or software errors
• Duplicate or incorrect orders: System malfunctions, reconnection events, or signal replay may result in duplicate or unintended trade executions
• Position sizing errors: Automated position sizing calculations are based on the parameters you configure. Incorrect settings may result in oversized or undersized positions
• Latency: While Tradestar aims for sub-10ms signal delivery, actual execution latency depends on your internet connection, broker infrastructure, and market conditions
• Software bugs: As with any software, Tradestar may contain bugs that could affect signal processing, trade execution, or journal accuracy

3. Prop Firm Compliance

While the Tradestar Bridge executes trades locally from your IP address via cTrader's native API, it is your sole responsibility to ensure that your use of automation complies with your prop firm's rules and terms of service. Tradestar makes no guarantees regarding prop firm compliance. Some prop firms may prohibit or restrict the use of automated trading tools regardless of execution method.

4. Broker and Platform Risk

• Tradestar is not a broker, dealer, or exchange. We do not hold your funds or execute trades on your behalf
• Your trading account is held with your broker. Tradestar has no control over or liability for your broker's actions, policies, insolvency, or service disruptions
• Broker credentials stored in Tradestar are read-only and encrypted. However, no system is completely immune to security breaches
• Trade data accuracy depends on the data provided by your broker's API. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of synced trade data

5. Market Data Disclaimer

The market data, news, sentiment indicators, and economic calendar data displayed in Tradestar are sourced from third-party providers (Finnhub, Marketaux, Seeking Alpha, Yahoo Finance, Alternative.me, Forex Factory). This data is provided for informational purposes only and should not be construed as financial advice. Data may be delayed, inaccurate, or incomplete. Always verify critical market information through your broker or primary data sources.

• Unauthorised access to your account
• Any third-party service failures (brokers, TradingView, payment processors)

• Server downtime, maintenance, or infrastructure failures
