Tradestar Desktop

A small Windows companion app that auto-detects MT4/MT5 and syncs trades with zero config, no credentials to paste, no EAs.

Tradestar Desktop sits on your PC next to MetaTrader, finds your MT4 and MT5 installs automatically, and keeps trades flowing into Tradestar in the background. No FTP credentials to copy, no settings to paste into MetaTrader.

Pro feature

Broker sync is Pro-only. Free users can still use manual CSV import and manual trade entry.

Zero-config

Install, click Connect, done. No credentials, no settings to tweak.

Real broker P&L

Trades sync with exact broker-reported profit, swap, and commission, not estimates.

Runs locally

No login credentials ever leave your machine, sync data goes over HTTPS from your PC to your account only.

Install it

The Add Trading Account modal with MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 in the platform grid

Download Tradestar Desktop (Windows 64-bit; macOS coming soon).
Run the installer. Windows may flag it as an unrecognised publisher, click More info → Run anyway.
Launch it, you'll land on the same console you use in the browser, just in a native window.
Go to Settings → Account → Add Account, pick MT4 or MT5, and it detects your terminals automatically.

MT4 vs MT5

They're different products internally, so the sync differs: MT4 publishes a statement every 10 minutes (MetaTrader's own limit); MT5 connects live and polls every 10 seconds with live floating P&L. See the dedicated MT4 and MT5 setup guides.
